MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS!

Many of you have received a notice from AAUW regarding the renewal of your membership for this year. These renewal notices go out early. But don’t worry. If you renew now, your membership year will re-main the same as it was. For example, I received my notice in April to renew, but my AAUW membership year is July 1-June 30 and will remain the same when I process my payment. You have two choices to renew. You can go into AAUW.org, login, go to the bottom of the login page and press renew. Follow the prompts. You will need to select our local branch to process the renewal correctly and then scroll a long way to the bot-tom to continue. You can pay by credit card on-line. If you are concerned about the process on-line, you can write a check for $123.00 made out to AAUW-SCCB with “Renewal” on the memo line. Then send the check to our P.O. Box at AAUW-SCCB, P.O. Box 1483 San Clemente CA. 92674. Lynda Winter will process the renewal.

If you want to renew now, go to AAUW.org and then to Membership. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click on the “login” button. The first time you log in, you will need to reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password” link. Do not select “Don’t have an account” or you will be creating a new account for yourself. From there you will be directed to your “Personal Snapshot.” Do try it. Click on the link below for instructions and several tutorials on how to set up your personal Snapshot. We now have a Community Hub section on the website with updated resources. You may also click on https://youtu.be/12g_974g-do for additional guidance. You don’t need to be concerned about the information on the video on how to add new members.

Once you are logged in, you will land on your personal page, which has your personal information such as email address, home address and phone, in addition to your current membership information. You can update your profile by clicking on “Edit Profile” in the menu at the left side of the screen. At the bottom of the page you will see a blue “RENEW” button. When you click on it you will enter the renewal process. Your Branch and state membership are not automatic. On the Branch page you will need to scroll to CA 0133, that is the San Clemente-Capistrano Bay Branch ID, and click on it. On the next page you will pick your state and click on CA for California. Scroll to the bottom (every branch and every state are listed on these pages) and submit. At this point you may pay by credit card or directly from your bank account. You will be given the option to make a National Fund donation.

If you prefer to write a check and leave the renewing to Lynda Winter, our membership treasurer, send her a check made out to AAUW SCCB Branch. The amounts are $118 for regular members and $51 for Life Members. Checks are made out to AAUW SB-CB. Mail your check to Lynda Winter. (Address in member directory)

Dual Members – You must renew online. You will select your Branches and make one of them your rimary Branch.

Honorary Members – Since no money is paid, we will do this as a bulk renewal. BUT you should still go into AAUW.org, log in, and update your profile by clicking on “Edit Profile” in the menu at the left side of the screen.
