BOOK DISCUSSIONS
BOOK WORMS will meet on Thursday, March 27 at 1:00 to discuss the book Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult. The location to meet at will be announced later. Mary Kay Pittner will lead the discussion. For more information, contact Diana Phelps.
CONTEMPORARY NOVELS, PLUS will meet on Monday, March 31 at 1:00 to discuss The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon at the home of Catherine McLoughlin. Julie Richwine will lead the discussion. Information will be sent to members via email. Contact person: Tammy Isaacs.
EVENING BOOKS will meet on Monday, March 17 at 7PM to discuss Mother, Daughter, Traitor, Spy by Susan Elia McNeal. Location: Rona Neiman’s house. Linda McLaughlin will lead the discussion. LITERARY CONVERSATIONS meets on the first Monday of the month at 1:00 pm. The next meeting will be Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1 PM. Patricia Busch will host and Carol Tuch will lead a discussion of “Sonny’s Blues” by James Baldwin, from our book Great Short Stories of the Masters. Information Contact: Laurie Jacobs.
GAMES
MAH JONGG: The Mah Jongg group meets every two weeks on Friday evening at 6 p.m. The games will be at Rona Neiman’s home on March 7 at 6 p.m. and at Laurie Jacobs’ home on March 21 at 6 p.m. We would love to have new players. If you would like to join the group or learn to play Mah Jongg, contact Jane Robinett.
DINE OUT OPPORTUNITIES
HAPPY HOUR will be on Wednesday, March 5 at 4:00pm at San Juan Creek Golf Club. Everyone is welcome. It is a great way in a casual atmosphere to get to know your fellow AAUW members. You just need to let Suzi Klickstein know if you are coming, so we can set up the right amount of tables and chairs. Please don’t forget to wear your name tag.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
INTERNATIONAL INTERESTS will meet on Tuesday, March 11, at 1:00 at Kathy Divel’s home. Kathy will lead the discussion on “American Foreign Policy at a Crossroads.” Please let Irene Berardesco know if you would like to be on the email distribution list for 2025. MATINEE DRAMA will meet on Friday, March 14 at 1:00 at the home of DeeDee Carr. We will be reading DEFYING GRAVITY, a play about the space race. All are welcome! Contact Tanya Johnson for information.
MEANDERING WOMEN walk at Dana Point Harbor at 10am on most Saturdays, unless it is a meeting day or otherwise specified. Everyone is welcome. We meet in front of Harpoon Henry’s. It is an easy three mile walk around the Harbor. Sandy Cupp and Marge Hobbs are co-leaders.
